Store Policies

Payment Types

Sheely’s accepts MasterCard, Visa, Discover and American Express. We also accept secure online PayPal payments. Payments can be made with all major credit cards as well as from your checking or savings account. The direct link can be found on our home page. For the protection of our customers we do require the cardholder to be present at the time of use. Sheely’s is proud to offer special financing with our Sheely’s Credit Card (requires credit approval). Cash, personal checks, money orders and Sheely’s gift certificates also accepted.

Gift certificates can be purchased in any amount and do not expire. Gift Certificates are not redeemable for cash. The certificate is a negotiable item and may be transferred to another party.


Stock merchandise is:

  • An item displayed in our showroom.

  • An item displayed in our showroom which may be temporarily out of stock in our warehouse.

Production and arrival times vary by style, model, fabric, and manufacturer. We can not guarantee delivery dates on merchandise not in our warehouse. Any stock merchandise not delivered within 30 days of availability requires layaway payments.

Special Order Merchandise

Having a one of a kind item made for you can make a room special and unique. We are glad to assist you in furnishing your home. A special order is:

  • An item not displayed in our showroom.

  • An item displayed in our showroom but in a different color, size, or finish.

  • An item not stocked in our warehouse.

Special orders are not subject to cancellation, and a deposit of 1/3 down is nonrefundable. Special order production and arrival times vary by manufacturer. We can not guarantee delivery dates on special orders. If you absolutely, positively must have your purchase by a certain date, we STRONGLY recommend buying from our inventory. Special orders cannot be cancelled, returned or exchanged under any circumstances once Sheely’s Furniture has placed the order with the manufacturer.

Our buyer will audit the sales order for completeness and pricing accuracy. If adjustments are needed you will be contacted for approval before your order is placed.

If for any reason you fail to take delivery of your special order merchandise it will result in a full loss of deposit and payments made. Any special order not delivered within 14 days of receipt requires layaway payments.


Estimated delivery dates are based on standard manufacturer lead times and are subject to change. Sheely’s cannot be held responsible and will not compensate for delays in transportation, fabric shortages, production, or other acts that may result in a delay of a customer's order. Failure to deliver your merchandise by the estimated delivery date will not give the customer the right to cancel the order without the express consent of Sheely’s.


Sheely’s offers free layaway on orders over $500. An item is considered a layaway if the merchandise is here and not scheduled for delivery. A 20% deposit is required on all layaway orders. Additional monthly payments of 1/6th of the original balance must be made on each layaway order. All layaways must be paid in full within 6 months of the order date. If you break or cancel the layaway agreement, 5% storage fees will be assessed on the value of the merchandise for each month the merchandise has been held. In addition, Sheely’s also reserves the right to hold 50% of deposits and payments made on cancelled layaway orders. All layaways must be delivered within 14 days of the layaway term.

Pictures, Lighting & Accessories

Any returns must be within 14 days. Merchandise must be in the original packaging. You will receive a full in-store credit or if refund is requested there is a 10% restocking fee. Due to the delicate nature of these items, they must be picked up.

As-Is, Closeout & Discontinued Merchandise

As-Is furniture products do not carry warranties. Appliances still carry the manufacturer's mechanical warranty. All As-Is, Closeout & Discontinued merchandise is sold as a final sale, no returns or cancellations. These orders do not qualify to be put in layaway.

Orders for these items must be scheduled for delivery or picked up within 14 days of the order being written. Special sales events may shorten this window to 7 days. (i.e. warehouse sale). These items require a 25 % deposit. No credit card payments can be taken over the phone. These items are priced for pick up and may require a delivery fee if delivered.


Cancellation of an order of stock merchandise within 30 days of being written will result in no loss of deposit. After 30 days all orders are considered a layaway and will follow the layaway policy.

Special order, As-Is, Closeout & Discontinued merchandise are non cancellable. Failure to take delivery of these items will result in your deposit being forfeited as a restocking charge.

Returns & Exchanges

All returns & exchanges must have prior approval within 7 days of delivery. There will be a $100 minimum restocking charge on any stock merchandise (excluding bedding) we pick up. The exact charge will be determined by management. The restocking fee is waived if the customer transports the merchandise to the store for return within 7 days.

Any exchange or return for a refund of stock merchandise is subject to inspection by the Sheely’s Service Department to insure merchandise is returned in its original condition. Original condition includes but is not limited to:

  • No signs of wear and tear

  • No scratches, nicks, or stains

  • No pet hair, smoke damage, or missing parts

All returned stocked merchandise must be accompanied by your sales receipt. Special order merchandise will be repaired, not exchanged or returned.

Mattresses, box springs, and power bases once delivered or picked-up are not subject to return or exchange without the written return approval of the bedding manufacturer.

All applicable delivery fees are not refundable.


All refunds take 7–14 days from the time your purchase is returned. If your order was paid by credit card or financing on the Sheely’s card your refund will be credited to that account. All other refunds will be paid by check.

Pricing Online

While we strive for accuracy, manufacturer online pricing restrictions and ever changing selection makes it unfeasible to list all prices. In the event of a price discrepancy between our website and our showroom, the showroom pricing will be deemed accurate. The prices listed are for the configurations as shown. Changes to finish, color, grade, fabric or leather may lead to price changes. Please contact us and we will be happy to assist you with product pricing and information.

Information Accuracy

We have taken great care to provide you with information that is accurate and useful. Please notify us if you find an error and we will do our best to correct it. We ask that you contact us directly to confirm information about pricing, color, features, dimensions, availability and lead times.
