Sheely’s Every Day’s a Holiday Contest Official Rules
CONTEST RULES
The Sheely’s “Every Day’s a Holiday Contest” asks entrants to create a video singing and/or playing the “Every Day’s a Holiday” jingle from the commercial linked here and submit for one entry.
Participants are asked to upload their video in a comment on the contest post at the top of the Sheely’s Furniture & Appliance Facebook page, upload in a post to the Facebook page, upload it to Instagram with #EveryDaysAHoliday to @sheelysfurniture or email it to info@sheelys.com.
Once the video is uploaded to one of the above platforms, the video will be counted as an entry.
Participants are asked to use the hashtag #EveryDaysAHoliday and tag Sheely’s when applicable.
One winner will be selected to receive a $500 Sheely’s gift certificate.
The contest entry period begins on November 1st, 2016 and runs through December 17th, 2016 at 11:59pm ET.
The winner will be chosen and announced via Facebook, Instagram and/or email on December 19th, 2016.
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY
A purchase will not improve your chances of winning.
You must have internet access to participate.
ELIGIBILITY
This contest is open to legal US residents 18 years or older whose primary residence is within a 120 mile radius of Sheely’s Furniture & Appliance Co., Inc., except for the following:
Employees of Sheely’s Furniture & Appliance Co., Inc., and their immediate family members (parents, in-laws, children, siblings, or spouse, regardless of where they live, or persons living in the same household, whether related or not),
advertising and promotion agencies, and any others engaged in the development, production, execution or distribution of this promotion are not eligible to participate.
One entry will be accepted per person for the life of the contest. Persons who have won a prize in the last 90 days are not eligible to win.
Video entries containing slanderous content, and/or content deemed inappropriate by Sheely’s Furniture & Appliance or that violate Facebook policy will be removed and the entry will be invalid.
HOW TO ENTER
To enter the “Every Day’s a Holiday Contest” participants must submit a video of themselves, limited to one entry per person, performing the Sheely’s jingle, “Every Day’s a Holiday, found here: https://goo.gl/XGdRqA.
Participants must submit the video via our Facebook page by uploading it in a comment on the contest post, uploading it and posting to our Facebook page, uploading it on Instagram with #EveryDaysAHoliday to @sheelysfurniture, or by email.
When using Instagram, participants must tag @sheelysfurniture and include the hashtag #EveryDaysAHoliday.
If using Facebook, participants are asked to like the Sheely’s Facebook page and to post the video via comment on the contest post or page using the hashtag #EveryDaysAHoliday.
If using email, participants must email the photograph to info@sheelys.com with the subject Every Day’s a Holiday Contest.
Videos will be displayed on our Facebook page and Instagram account.
Registration is free and no purchase is necessary.
LIMIT
Each entrant may submit only one video.
Multiple Facebook posts, emails or Instagram posts of the same videos will not count as separate entries.
Entrants will only be eligible to win one (1) prize.
Limit one (1) prize per person per household. Video entries containing slanderous content, and/or content deemed inappropriate by Sheely’s Furniture & Appliance Co., Inc. or that violate Facebook or Instagram policies and regulations will be reported and removed and the entry will be invalid.
WINNER SELECTION
On December 19th, 2016 the winner will be chosen by Sheely’s and announced via Facebook and Instagram.
The winner will be selected from among all valid entries received during the promotional period.
Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries.
In the event of a tie, the winner will be randomly selected.
The winner’s information will be posted on Facebook, Instagram, and/or Sheely’s website at the conclusion of this contest.
If your name/city/state is posted on Facebook and Instagram, then you are a winner - subject to verification.
WINNER NOTIFICATION
The winner will be notified via Facebook, Instagram and/or email at Sheely’s Furniture & Appliance Co., Inc.’s discretion and will be required to complete and return an, Affidavit of Eligibility,
IRS W-9 form and release of Liability/Publicity within 5 business days of the date of notification.
Picture ID is required in order to claim prize.
If the winner is unreachable after 5 business days, or if the winner is unavailable for prize fulfillment, or is not in compliance with these official rules, an alternate winner may be selected from among all remaining eligible entries.
Winner must pick up prize in person and sign proof of receipt.
GENERAL
No cash equivalents or transfer of prize permitted.
Winner is responsible for all applicable federal, state, and local taxes.
This contest is void where prohibited by law.
By participating, entrants and winner release and agree to hold harmless the Sponsor, Sheely’s Furniture & Appliance Co., Inc., all officers, directors, shareholders, employees and agents, including without limitation,
their advertising/promotional agencies from any and all liability, injury, loss or damage of any kind of arising from or in connection with participation in the Sweepstakes, or the awarding, receipt, possession,
use or misuse of the prize and / or with respect to participation in any prize related activity.
Sponsor is not responsible for any typographical or other error in printing, offering or announcement of prize.
By participating in this promotion, entrants agree to be bound by the Official Rules and the decisions of the judges, which are final and binding in all respects.
Entrants further grant to Sheely’s Furniture & Appliance Co., Inc., the right to use and publish their proper name, photo and voice online and in print, or any other media without further compensation.
In the event of a dispute regarding the identity of the person submitting a Facebook or Twitter entry, the entry will be deemed submitted by the authorized account holder of the email address submitted at the time of the entry.
Sheely’s Furniture & Appliance Co., Inc. reserves the right to use any and all information related to the Sweepstakes, including information on contestants obtained through the Sweepstakes for marketing purposes, communication,
updates or any other purpose, unless prohibited by law.
Sheely’s Furniture & Appliance Co., Inc. is not responsible for any internet crashes, or slowdowns caused by network congestion, viruses, sabotage, satellite failures, phone line failures, electrical outages, natural disasters or acts of man or God.
Neither Sheely’s Furniture & Appliance Co., Inc., nor any Sweepstakes Entity is responsible for any online entry that is lost, late, misdirected or undeliverable, whether due to system errors, omissions, interruptions, deletions, defects,
delay in operations or transmissions, theft or destruction or failures, faulty transmissions or other telecommunications malfunctions, entries not received resulting from any hardware or software failures of any kind, lost or unavailable network connections,

Any personal information supplied by entrants will be subject to Sponsor’s Privacy Policies and terms of service posted at its website.
Once submitted, entries become the sole property of the Sponsor and will not be returned.
Official rules will be posted on the Sponsor’s website during the contest period.
