Sheely's sponsors many local sports teams and activities, the area's Booster Club, numerous school organizations and local charities. Mr. and Mrs. Sheely specifically wished to help less fortunate area families. So, in 1994, The Sheely Foundation was established to provide food, clothing and special assistance for these families. The foundation works through many local church organizations to accomplish this enormous task. The Sheely Foundation has donated over 2 million dollars to families in need and various Christian affiliated programs in our community, in the Youngstown, Pennsylvania area.

Since 2014, our employees have been participating in the Panerathon held in downtown Youngstown. All proceeds go to support Joanie’s Promise Fund at the MercyHealth Foundation Mahoning Valley. Joanie’s Promise is that ALL women will have access to the Joanie Abdu Comprehensive Breast Care Center.

Second Harvest Food Bank

Sheely's donates yearly to the Second Harvest Food Bank. Customers and employees can bring in food donations on Memorial Day and in September for Hunger Action Month.

In 2012, Dale Sheely Sr. received the Salvation Army Philanthropic Award for his outstanding commitment to the Salvation Army of Mahoning County in making a difference in the lives of individuals in need.

In 2005 Sheely's helped furnish a family home with the TV show "Extreme Makeover Home Edition."

The Beatitude House

Sheely's donates to the Beatitude House located in Warren, OH and serving all women and children bound in the cycle of poverty and homelessness.

Sojourner House Service Award

In 2001, Sheely’s was honored to receive the Sojourner House Service Award. The mission of Sojourner House Domestic Violence Services is to provide a comprehensive program of crisis intervention, counseling, advocacy and shelter for victims of domestic violence in Mahoning County.

Hospice of the Valley

Sheely's donates to the Hospice of the Valley serving Mahoning, Trumbull, and Columbiana counties and offers great freedom and personal choice to patients and families.

Going Green

Going Green

In 2010, Sheely’s implemented a paper recycling program in which we recycle over 500,000 lbs. of paper, cardboard and plastic per year. In 2011 we upgraded the entire store to LED lighting which is extremely energy efficient and consumes up to 90% less power than incandescent bulbs.
