SmartDispense is a built-in laundry detergent storage pedestal that automatically dispenses the right amount of detergent at the right time, allowing you to toss your clothes in the wash, select a cycle, and leave the laundry room. Due to sudsing, more detergent is dispensed in hard water situations than soft water. GE provides a water hardness test strip allowing you to program your water hardness upon initial installation. SmartDispense dispenses just the right amount of detergent in every cycle based on water hardness and soil level, assuring you won't waste expensive detergent while still getting your clothes clean.
