No pressure. You do your own thing and if you need help, someone is there to answer your questions. My daughter had purchased an item from a store in Pittsburgh to find out that she could have saved $400 if she had gone to Sheely’s first. The delivery staff called me a half hour before the furniture was being delivered and, sure enough, they were there on time. You didn’t have to waste your whole day waiting for a delivery truck.

We live about ½ hour south of Pittsburgh. We made our first trip to Sheely’s on Friday, October 14th. We were unhappy with any of the selections in our local stores. IT WAS WELL WORTH THE TRIP!!!! I am writing to comment on your sales staff – particularly Bernice – and also to commend you on your business practices. After scouring the stores in Pittsburgh for two recliners (to no avail) the very next day we took a drive to Sheely’s. It was not long before we realized we should have come here from the beginning!! Our first indication was meeting Bernice. She was so extremely patient and professional in all matters. We also opted to select different fabrics for our “BEST BRAND” recliners. Bernice was honest in saying, “Yes, this material is lovely, but just because it is considered a “higher end price,” that does not mean it will hold up well.” She sat patiently with us and made honest suggestions while we chose two different materials that looked great and would last. We were more than happy with her. To add to this wonderful experience, several days after purchasing our two “BEST BRAND” recliners, Sheely’s ran an ad on TV saying it would be offering a 10% savings on all “BEST BRAND” home furnishings. Obviously, we had made (and paid in full) our “BEST BRAND” purchase already, but I thought it just might not hurt to ask if Sheely’s might consider honoring the 10% discount, since we had only missed the sale by a few days. To my delight and surprise, after checking into it, Bernice called us back with the wonderful news – a savings of nearly $100.00!! Now THAT is customer goodwill. It is good business practice like this that will keep people coming back to your store. Bernice went out of her way to help us during AND after the sale. She is a true asset for Sheely’s. SHEELY’S will be my FIRST stop when buying furniture!!! Thank you for your store and please extend my gratitude to Bernice.

I have been looking for furniture for a year now, with no luck, when a friend suggested your store. I was overwhelmed with your selection and I was there for two hours. I got home from work the Friday of Memorial day weekend only to find that my 6-year old refrigerator, stocked with meats and side dishes for my holiday company, had stopped running. My husband had already called the repair folks and was informed they would not be available to assess its repairability for a week. We have bought appliances and furniture from Sheely’s in the past so I am familiar with your delivery patterns in my area. I was pretty sure you would not be out our way with one day’s notice on the Saturday of a holiday weekend, but in a panic I called. I asked if we got to the store and bought a new refrigerator before you closed, could you possibly deliver it the next day. The delivery manager conferred with the warehouse manager and they determined they would make a special run to get the new unit to me on Saturday! Now that’s what I call customer service! Thanks to all the Sheely’s employees for going above and beyond!

I had a dryer delivered a few weeks ago. I just wanted to compliment the delivery men. Their names were Ryan and Ben; and they were so polite and careful. The delivery was especially difficult because it went to the basement through a very narrow hall, but they did a fantastic job! They were even nice to our very old blind dog! I would like to acknowledge a very positive experience with Jodi, one of Sheely’s service department associates. During our recent move from Pennsylvania to Florida, many items came up missing, including the box containing the parts to many of our household items. Some of the items were parts for two metal beds purchased from Sheely’s several years ago. I took a chance and contacted your service department. Jodi was very helpful and offered to phone the manufacturer to try to obtain the parts we lost. After speaking to the manufacturer, Jodi said that she would mail the parts to us as soon as they received them. She was extremely helpful and a wonderful representative for Sheely’s. This level of customer service is rare today. Associates with Jodi’s “can do” attitude will insure Sheely’s continued success.

On Saturday, January 2nd, my husband and I drove to your store from Pittsburgh. We hit some bad weather when we got to your store and we slid off the road into a ditch in your parking lot. Your employees were more than willing to assist, and we were out of the ditch in record time. I cannot tell you how much their kindness meant to us. Your employees are an outstanding group of individuals. Thank you again!!

I am writing to comment on the delivery personnel that delivered a stove to my parents house on Saturday morning. I want to thank them. After talking with my mother, she told me that the delivery men took away her old stove. Then she asked for a couple minutes to clean the floor where the stove had been before they put the new stove in. Seeing that my mother had difficulty moving around, they offered and, in fact, cleaned the floor for her before putting in the new stove. My mother was thrilled. She could hardly believe that such service still exists. She called me to tell me how happy she was.

I had taken her shopping at your store because I have always been very satisfied with the products and service I have received. She was very happy with the selections as well as the prices. And now she is thrilled with the service.

Thank you again for your delivery men. It really gives me peace of mind to know that my elderly parents were taken care of.

We visited your store on July 6, 2009, our first time. We live in the Pittsburgh area and had been looking for furniture for over a year. With the exception of a few small furniture stores, our choices are very limited.

We’ve never felt the need to congratulate a retail store on our experience, but we felt it necessary as we were so impressed with your store! Everyone was welcoming and freely allowed us to shop without having a salesperson trail us around. Sherry checked in with us regularly to see how we were doing and was more than helpful to us. She was great!

The credit kiosk system expedites the financing process and we can’t believe how quickly we made our purchase and were on our way. It was well worth the hour and 40 minutes to get there. We’ll be doing all of our furniture shopping there and would not hesitate to recommend you to anyone in need of furniture and appliances.

She told us we had to drive to Sheely’s to see everything they had and then we would never go anywhere else. We decided to make the drive after shopping five other furniture stores.
